This stylish apartment belongs to a perfumer and such a choice of profession means that you are going to see something special: creative people always make their dwellings wow.
The apartment is 150 sqm; it is done with white plaster walls, molding and light-colored wooden floors. You’ll see a fine selection of vintage finds and designer furniture plus glam chandeliers. The love of rare designs and art is everywhere in the apartment.
The first space you see is a home office combined with a living room. The home office zone contains a vintage desk, wardrobe and a coffee table. There are cool rugs and a leather daybed; like everywhere in the apartment, the art has a special meaning: over the desk there’s a gallery wall. The living room is done with a large white sofa, an eye-catchy glass and metal coffee table and again a gallery wall.
The master bedroom features a comfy bed, an oversized glam chandelier, a gallery wall over the bed, Moroccan tables as nightstands and a Moroccan wedding blanket as a bedspread. Moroccan items can be seen here and there in the apartment, and they help to tie the spaces together. You may also see that the bedding repeats the motifs of the sofa, which also connects the spaces.
The dining room is done with a long wooden table, Bertoia chairs and a large open storage furniture piece with a collection of graphic works by Swedish artist Inger Sand Lee. The owner’s passion for smells appears, especially in the dining room, of the long line of scented candles from different manufacturers. A large display cabinet is a French vintage find and it really makes a statement in the space.
The kitchen is done with sleek white cabinets, a black countertop and you can again see a gallery wall over them. Get inspired!
