This contemporary apartment in São Paulo, Brazil, was completely rethought and renovated by FC studio for two young brothers. The home became a fresh take on a contemporary masculine though not too much apartment, let’s take a closer look at it.
The main space contains a living room, TV room, dining room, kitchen, laundry, balcony and office, which helped to make it feel more spacious and functional. Hybrid and mobile furniture like benches and tables invite the use of the flexible area, and the space adapts to the different possible scenarios where work, eating, cooking, washing clothes, etc. happen in a fluid way. Sliding doors can separate the outdoor and indoor spaces creating some privacy. I love the interesting combo of colors used for decor: black, green, lots of graphite grey, which makes the bold greens stand out. The kitchen done in green is visually separated from the rest of the space, and a small desk plus a musical instrument in the corner is part of decor though such zones are usually separated too – here everything is rather fluid and it’s perfectly integrated into decor.
There are two suites that offer privacy to both brothers, one of them is done with a white faux brick wall and bold artworks. The bathroom pictured here is clad with small black tiles and white grout to make it stand out, and black furniture emphasizes that it’s a masculine space. Enjoy all the pics of this cool contemporary dwelling for two guys!
