Minimalist homes are often considered cold and impersonal but this home is none of that kind. It’s a warm and sunlit Australian home that belongs to a creative couple who told a story using interesting furniture and accessories.
The whole home is done with white walls and rich-toned wooden floors, which comprise an amazing backdrop for decorating. To make the white walls look not boring, the couple opted for whitewashed wooden planks in some rooms. There’s a dining area with a custom-made dining table with comfy chairs and a bench and a woven lamp – the owners like to have guests, and such a space is necessary for them.
In the living room there’s a very cozy and comfy sitting space next to a hearth, some faux fur covered chairs and warm touches like weaving and wood. There are also cool rattan chairs and a brown leather sofa plus a creamy rug that adds coziness.
The master bedroom is a small yet very peaceful space with a large bed dressed up in neutrals and some vintage decorations and accessories to add a character to the space. The nursery is pure love! There’s a cool wooden crib with a navy canopy, a watercolor artwork, some chic furniture and accessories and much natural light – such a gorgeous space! Get inspired by the photos and feel the sunlight coming from them!
