This creative colorful apartment belongs to a singer-songwriter and is very comfortable to create music while staying at home. Let’s take a look at it.
Moscow-based bureau Cxema (Skhēma) Architects created a home filled with colors and impressions that vary depending on the time of the day. The musician wakes up to a light-blue sky on the bedroom’s ceiling, which adjoins the lighter gray walls revealing the lively peach-colored windows. Due to the lack of sunlight in the living room, the architects have used serene forest shades and created — as they call it — a ‘color pocket’, a zone, where both walls and ceiling are painted with the same color to separate the resting area from the passage. The traditional bathroom covered with white ceramic tiles with dark joins is enlivened by a delicate pink ceiling. The entryway is done with geometric mirrors, a wooden bench and a textural rug plus a planter to enliven the space.
As for decor, it’s a peculiar mix of minimalism and Scandinavian touches and so is the furniture. There’s actually only necessary furniture and you won’t see any excessive decor or accessories, which was done in order not to distract the owner from creating but to inspire him as much as possible. Due to lots of color blocking used in decor, the apartment doesn’t look empty, it gives impressions. Dive into the world of music and colors looking at the pics!
