This Los Angeles home was designed by Atelier AM in neutrals but with an earthy and rustic feel. You’ll be excited about some unique antique furniture you’ll see around the house. Let’s take a closer look at the spaces to enjoy them all.
The living room is done with white plaster on the walls and aged and weathered wood on the floor for a warm feel. There’s a large fireplace, a neutral upholstered sofa, some printed furniture and brown leather chairs. The room is given texture with wooden furniture items and baskets, all the wood is aged and weathered to create an impression of something really antique. Some artworks add to the space, and an oversized dark-colored one makes a fantastic statement.
The kitchen is done with white plaster that even covers the hood and vintage tiles on the floor – they really look as if they are taken from the early 20th century or even 19th. The kitchen cabinets are made of weathered wood, the cooker is a vintage metal one. wooden beams on the ceiling are used to hang some lamps.
The dining space is done with the same tiles and plaster as the kitchen, there’s a vintage outdoor lamp hanging from above. The dining set features a vintage rustic table, some woven chairs but the showstopper isn’t the table. The showstopper is a large antique wooden cupboard, which makes a bold rustic statement.
The bathroom features a stone sink, a vintage wooden plant stand and a wooden bucket as a trash can. The other spaces of the house aren’t shown but we don’t hesitate that they are gorgeous, too.
